The school in Tanzania offers housing and meals with a local host family in Arusha, Tanzania. Participants' hosts offer a separate, private room with three local meals a day. Should participants wish to stay in a hotel, accommodations can be arranged for additional fees.
Living accommodations and meals in local host families can be arranged. Host families provide a separate room and three meals a day (local, Tanzanian cuisine). Tanzanian cuisine includes meat, chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes - offering local, fresh, and nutritious meals. However, a variety of exotic foods is available throughout the city of Arusha.
Should participants wish to stay in hotel, this can be arranged but at an additional fee.
Transportation
Airport pick-up and a transfer service can be arranged to transfer participants to their respective living accommodations. Participants are required to provide their flight information prior to arrival in Arusha.
Climate
Tanzania has a tropical climate. There are two rainy seasons including the long rains or Masika from March to May and the short rains or Vuli from October to December.
