The School
It's hard to find one's way in a new country and city. This is why we've made sure that our learning center is easily accessible from all areas of Cape Town, close to all major travel routes and conveniently located near all major hotels and the International Convention Centre. The Language Teaching Center is in the city center and our classrooms are situated on the 9th floor of our building, with a magnificent view of the Table Mountain. Our school strives to create a relaxed, friendly and comfortable learning environment for all our students.
Housing
Housing options and pricing are dependent upon availability and season at the time of your course. Your onsite coordinator will be able to provide more details and recommendations.
There are different home-stays located in the Green Point, Gardens, Tamboerskloof and Sea Point areas. Sea Point is close to the ocean and a 10 minute drive from our school. The students stay in a big house with the host family. This option includes shared bathrooms. The cost is approximately $150 USD per week.
Cape Town has a large number of premium hotels, bed & breakfast and guest houses available.
Transportation
Cape Town International Airport is a 20 minute drive from the city center, with direct flights from most major cities. There are taxis that can take you from the airport to the city. If you need to be picked up, a private transportation company can be arranged for a fee.
Climate
The Cape Peninsula has a SubtropicalMediterranean climate with mild, wet winters, and dry, warm summers. Winter lasts from the beginning of June to the end of August and summer lasts from November to March.
