TEFL Institute International Courses
Our TEFL Certification Program is a 120-hour course specifically designed for inexperienced teachers whose career goals and dreams include living and working abroad. This TEFL program focuses on both theoretical and practical TEFL methodology by combining both theoretical analyses and in-classroom practice. Our TEFL participants are brought up-to-date on industry-leading innovations: honing the knowledge and practical skills in the field of Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
Classes are typically held over 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day. The standard of 100 hours of coursework and 20 hours of student teaching (practicum) are integrated with homework, tests, quizzes, lesson planning, videotaping, role playing to simulate real teaching scenarios. The amount of work is compared to a 6 credit hour university course.
