TEFL Institute's employee, student and alumni support of Haiti's relief
Like millions around the globe, those of us who work, teach and study at TEFL Institute wish to offer our prayers and finacial support to the people of Haiti as they struggle to recover from the devastation left in the wake of the earthquake that struck their nation on January 12, 2010.
Our thoughts are also with those whose friends and loved ones have been touched by this horrific event. At this time, we encourage everybody who can to donate and offer whatever assistance possible to alleviate the pain and suffering that the people of Haiti will struggle to cope with in the weeks and months ahead.
TEFL Institute’s employees have all lived, worked, studied and traveled extensively around the world and we all have strong commitments to international service and education. In addition, thousands of TEFL Institute graduates span the globe, including many who live and work with the less fortunate. As an international community we are all committed to assisting the global community relief efforts and future education development.
In the immediate aftermath of this tragedy, Haitian citizens will need massive amounts of food, medical supplies and materials for shelter just to survive, but the island nation’s need for material and financial assistance will go on long after the television crews go home and the earthquake fades from the front pages.
Please join TEFL Institute staff, students and alumni by donating to
the American Red Cross
Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders),

and remember to keep the Haitian people in your hearts and minds
throughout the remainder of 2010 and beyond.
We sincerely thank you.
