Housing
Housing options and pricing are dependent upon availability and season at the time of your course. Your onsite coordinator will be able to provide more details and recommendations. Housing placement can be arranged for a fee.
Transportation
The main airport in Paris is Charles de Gaulle, a 40-minute drive from downtown Paris. Paris is easily accessible from Charles de Gaulle Airport via the RER, Paris’s suburban rail network, or the high-speed TGV trains. We can also arrange a pick up for you upon your arrival at specific times for a fee.
Paris itself is extremely accessible via public transportation. The city has over 650 bus lines and four tramway lines in addition to the RER. The most important transportation system is the Metro, which has 16 different train lines with over 300 stations throughout Paris.
Climate
In general, the climate in Paris is cool and mild. Some years have had jags of hot summer weather from 30-40 Celsius, but Parisian summers are usually warm and pleasant. Winters are typically overcast and cold, but it rarely dips into freezing temperatures.
