Weather in Chile
The climate of Chile comprises a wide range of weather. Chile hosts at least seven major climatic subtypes, ranging from desert in the north, to alpine tundra and glaciers in the east and south east, humid subtropical on Easter Island, Oceanic in the south and Mediterranean climate in central Chile. There are four distinct seasons in most of the country.

Festival Inernacionalde de la Cancion de Vina del Mar
Be sure to attend the Vina del Mar International Song Festival (Festival Internacionalde de la Cancion de Vina del Mar). This annual music festival is considered the most important musical event in Latin America and features a song competition on two categories, pop and folk music. Musicians from around the world perform each year and in 2009, Latin sensation, Daddy Yankee and British legend, Simply Red, rocked the stage.
