Teaching Abroad in Russia Overview:
The image that usually pops into people's heads when Russia is on the brain is that of the gigantic and fearless boxer Ivan Drago, who gave Rocky a bout for the ages in the fourth installment of the wildly popular boxing movie franchise. The image of Russia as a powerful and dominant force in the world is still accurate but things have softened since the Berlin Wall came down. Since scrapping communism, Russia now has an invigorated economy and the oil industry has become an all-important commodity that attracts foreign commerce, trade and English teachers looking to work in the largest country in the world. The chance to see behind the iron curtain and experience a storied history while witnessing a cultural resurgence will leave a lasting impression. Za vashe zdarov'e (To your health!)
