The Bulgarian people make their own cheese and grow their own potatoes but you will marvel at their coffee! Believe it or not, the country that was once behind the iron curtain boasts as many monasteries as America has Starbucks shops, and Bulgarians can brew a great cup of Joe that even that global franchise headquartered in Washington could appreciate. Along with sucking down the yummy beverage, make sure and check out the black sand beaches. The surf is as pretty as the ski slopes and ancient ruins that all contribute to Bulgaria's allure and charm.
